IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The official WTC Tournament Rules Pack we currently present for WTC OPEN 2025 TOW as well, is currentlys still in a version that is 100% tinkered towards WTC Clash of Nations. Still a very vast
majority of the pack applies fully for WTC OPEN.
Exceptions to be aware of:
- The current pack only treats teams of 8 players. Still it´s very easy to adapt and putting in the requirements and rules for teams of 5. Cut step 2 in the pairing sequence for example and change the cap from 100/60 to 65/35 etc.
- The Comp Pack - especially in regards of Grand Cathay - might still be adjusted in accordance to our experience in WTC CoN. Still we will try to make sure the Tournament Rules Pack and the Sub-Packs are frozen 4 weeks in advance of the WTC OPEN list submission deadline.
- We of course reserve the right to adjust more stuff in the pack in accordance to upcoming releases or improved insights into the game and whatr might be needed to properly increase the gaming experience for all players!
- ComFAQ will as well be frozen for WTC Open 24h before list submission deadline.
